Terms of Service for BEATBRIX

BEATBRIX is provided by harvexis. Contact: support@harvexis.com. These terms describe use of the game; mandatory rights under applicable law continue to apply.

Using BEATBRIX

You may use BEATBRIX for lawful personal entertainment, subject to these terms and the applicable Google Play terms. Do not exploit the game, manipulate rankings, introduce malicious files, or interfere with other players or services. Access to online features depends on compatible devices, connectivity and third-party service availability.

You must be at least 13 years old to use BEATBRIX. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you must have a parent or legal guardian’s permission. Applicable regional age requirements and third-party service terms also apply.

Your music, photos, videos and words

You retain rights in your own content. You must have the ownership, permission or other lawful basis needed to import and use content, including music compositions, sound recordings, images, video, likenesses and other protected material. Importing a file into BEATBRIX does not transfer its copyright or grant additional rights to it.

You authorize only the processing reasonably needed for the features you use, including local playback, cropping, board creation and optional Google Play Games checkpoint synchronization as described in the Privacy Policy. This is not an unrestricted licence for harvexis to publish or sell your imported media.

Recording and sharing gameplay — copyright responsibility

If you record, livestream, post, distribute or monetize gameplay containing music, video, images or other third-party material, you are responsible for securing the rights required for that activity and complying with the destination platform's rules. Permission to listen to a song, or availability on YouTube or another platform, does not by itself authorize inclusion in a recorded or monetized video.

BEATBRIX does not clear rights for your imported media and does not guarantee that a recording will avoid copyright claims, muting, blocking, takedowns or monetization restrictions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, harvexis is not responsible for claims arising from content you select or publish without the necessary rights. This provision does not exclude responsibility that the law imposes on harvexis for its own conduct or remove anyone's mandatory legal rights.

Built-in music is licensed content, not a promise that it is copyright-free or free of platform claims. Consult the in-game Music credits for track-specific terms. Tracks distributed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 require appropriate attribution, a licence link and an indication of changes where applicable when you share the licensed material. Credits displayed inside the game do not automatically satisfy the requirements for your separate upload. Nothing in these terms restricts rights already granted to you by an applicable open licence. See CC BY 4.0.

For copyright concerns about content supplied by harvexis, contact support@harvexis.com, identify the work and relevant game content, and explain your rights or authority. Do not send false or abusive claims.

Permissions for recordings and imported content

Subject to these terms, harvexis permits you to record and share your own BEATBRIX gameplay, including monetized videos and streams, insofar as harvexis owns the relevant game visuals. This permission does not license third-party music, imported content, trademarks or other material that harvexis does not own. Do not imply an official partnership or endorsement without permission.

You are responsible for checking whether your intended use requires permissions for both the musical composition and the sound recording, synchronization with video, public performance, distribution or commercial use. A streaming subscription, purchase of a song, a “no copyright” label or successful import into the game is not proof of those permissions. Where you cannot establish the necessary rights, replace or omit that material from anything you share. Do not use imported media to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity or other rights.

Claims arising from your unauthorized content

Where permitted by applicable law, an adult user is responsible for reasonable, documented losses, damages and legal costs finally awarded against harvexis, or included in a settlement that the user approves in writing, to the extent directly caused by that user's knowing infringement of third-party rights through content they import or distribute using BEATBRIX. This obligation does not apply to losses caused by harvexis's own infringement, negligence, unlawful conduct or breach of these terms, and does not impose an automatic obligation on a minor or parent merely because the game was used.

If relying on this provision, harvexis will give prompt notice of the claim, provide reasonable information and an opportunity to participate in its defence, and take reasonable steps to limit avoidable loss. No settlement may impose an admission or obligation on the user without their agreement. This provision is subject to mandatory consumer protections and does not restrict a person's right to seek legal advice or bring a lawful complaint.

Reporting a rights concern

Send a rights complaint to support@harvexis.com with your contact details, the work or right concerned, the specific game content or relevant link, and an explanation of your ownership or authority and the alleged infringement. We may request reasonable supporting information and will assess appropriate action. BEATBRIX does not operate a public hosting service for user imports, and harvexis cannot remove a user's upload from an unrelated platform; use that platform's reporting process as well where appropriate.

Progress, coins and rankings

Virtual coins, stars, styles and scores are game features with no cash redemption value. Leaderboard positions do not promise cash or other prizes. Rewards depend on the conditions shown in the game. Optional rewarded ads require successful completion and confirmation; availability varies.

Progress may be stored locally and, when connected, through Google Play Games. Synchronization can be delayed or fail. Uninstalling, clearing storage, changing accounts or losing unsynchronized data can affect progress. We cannot promise recovery of data that was never successfully saved or synchronized.

Custom creation unlocks and replays

In versions offering creation unlocks, playing a new custom photo, video or word creation requires either 100 in-game coins or completion of one optional rewarded ad, as shown before you choose. You can cancel without spending coins. You can earn coins through normal gameplay and use those coins instead of an ad. Selecting a new photo, video or word requires a separate unlock; replays and restarts of the same unlocked creation do not require another creation-unlock payment or ad. Changing the crop, layout or soundtrack of the same imported source does not require another creation unlock.

An unlocked creation is saved in My creations on that device. Existing custom creations recoverable from the previous saved-round checkpoint are preserved without a new charge. “Free replays” means no additional creation-unlock charge for starting that saved creation again; separate optional mid-round continue rewards or coin costs, if offered, remain subject to the choices shown in the game. Unlocks are personal in-game access, are not transferable, and have no cash redemption value.

Ads are subject to availability. If an ad is unavailable or is closed before the reward is earned, that attempt does not unlock the creation and does not spend coins. A completed rewarded ad grants the displayed unlock, without also deducting coins. A successful coin unlock deducts the displayed amount once. If an earned unlock is missing, contact support with the approximate time and device details; do not send passwords.

The full saved-creation library and imported video/audio files are not backed up by the game's Google Play Games save feature. Unlock identifiers and progress may synchronize when Play Games is connected; the current custom-round checkpoint may include a compressed photo or video preview as described in the Privacy Policy. Keep your original media. Clearing storage, uninstalling, changing accounts or missing local files can affect access to replays. If the same original file is re-imported and its unlock record is available, another creation-unlock charge is not required. We do not promise recovery of unsaved or unsynchronized records.

Spending coins or completing an ad purchases no copyright or other rights in imported media. The content and recording responsibilities elsewhere in these terms still apply.

Ads and third-party services

BEATBRIX currently integrates Google Mobile Ads and Google Play Games. Their applicable terms and privacy notices also govern their services. Unity Ads mediation is planned, not enabled in the current release; relevant disclosures will be updated before activation. No term here authorizes tracking without any consent required by law.

Game content and changes

Except for your content and separately licensed materials, the game and its branding remain the property of their respective owners. harvexis may update features, balance, content and compatibility. We aim to maintain a usable game but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation on every device.

Liability and disputes

To the extent permitted by law, harvexis is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of third-party content, failures beyond its reasonable control, or loss of unsynchronized progress. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Disputes remain subject to applicable law and any mandatory consumer jurisdiction rights. You may contact support to seek an informal resolution, but doing so is not a prerequisite to exercising a legal right or contacting a regulator.

Severability and changes

If a provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not by itself waive it. Changes to these terms do not retrospectively remove accrued rights. Material changes will be notified as legally required, and consent or acceptance will be sought where necessary; merely publishing revised text does not replace those requirements.
